The forest borders the campsite and is a popular excursion destination for both locals and tourists.
The zoo
Fladbro forest is worth a visit in all seasons. The forest was established in 1897 and is today a mixture of coniferous and deciduous trees. Here you can find burial mounds dating back to the Stone Age.
We recommend a walk through the forest down to the forest house at Fladbro Kro. Here you can admire the peacocks and continue across the road to the southern part of the forest, which contains Randers Dyrehave with free-ranging deer.
If you have small children with you, you can go hunting for the pacifier tree, where the little ones can hand over their pacifiers to the forest's cute little trolls who will take good care of them.
